Dr. Rachel Frontain, DC

Dr. Rachel graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate degree in chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Western States in Portland, OR in December 2017. During her time in school, she took extra-curricular courses in Functional Neurology, as well as becoming certified in Active Release Technique and Webster Technique. As vice president of her school’s Student American Chiropractic Association chapter, she regularly worked alongside other chiropractors and students, as well as lobbied in Washington, D.C. twice, to increase patient access to chiropractic care in the United States. Upon completing her 3-month clinical internship at Northwest Functional Neurology, she made the relocation to Portland permanent and joined the team as a clinical associate in early 2018.

She grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada where she earned a B.A. from the The University of Saskatchewan in 2015. Prior to chiropractic school, she traveled to Bali where she earned her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. She then relocated to Portland, OR to attend chiropractic school in 2016. It was a snowboarding incident that introduced her to Functional Neurology and she knew she wanted to specialize in the field before she started chiropractic training. She also has a passion for treating children under a Functional Neurology model. In her free time, you might catch her snowboarding, swinging kettlebells, practicing yoga, singing in her car and studying neurology, all while drinking coffee around Portland.
