NERVE INJURIES & PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHIES
Living with peripheral neuropathy can be extremely challenging and frustrating. The pain and sensory changes can invade virtually all aspects of your life, and make normal activities like balance and gait very difficult. With your NeuroRescue program, we identify the dysfunctional neurological systems that are creating your symptoms, and create unique therapies to improve their function so you can get back on the path to living your best life.
WHAT IS A PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY?
A peripheral neuropathy is a disorder in which nerve fibers outside the spinal cord are injured or degenerating. This prevents them from functioning properly, leading to a wide range of symptoms and problems. Peripheral neuropathies can manifest in many different ways and locations. They generally affect the hands, feet or face; they can also be seen in other areas such as the arms, legs, chest and back.
Peripheral neuropathies can create pain, numbness, weakness, feelings of pins and needles, or other uncomfortable sensations.

OUR TREATMENTS
Peripheral neuropathy can be caused by many different factors. It can result from nerve injury, genetics, inflammation, toxins, or conditions such as diabetes. The problems in gait, balance, coordination, and pain arise from peripheral neuropathy can be exacerbated by functional imbalances in the central nervous system. Functional issues involving the spinal cord, brainstem, cerebellum and brain can make the problems of peripheral neuropathy much harder to deal with. We use state of the art diagnostic technologies to precisely identify the impaired neurons and pathways that create these functional imbalances. We evaluate the function of every system involved, and create unique customized rehabilitation plans to help you get your peripheral neuropathy pain under control and regain your lost function.
